Has the game ever stolen your items?
Here's what happened to me.
My monk character got a purple protecting players icon +12Energy purple req8 +4Armor -20hp This and my +5Energy sword gave my smiting monk a better setup than the 55 monks use imo. I used the icon for a bit, and then I got a NET ERROR. So as I always do, I reconnected, but to my surprice, my icon was gone. This NET ERROR happened to me about a minute after I got the icon which imo is very rare. Now I'm upset cus it seems as if the game detected my setup and somehow decided that it was invalid since this setup gave me 85hp and 60(if I remember correctly) Energy, this made my smiting monk super powerful since I had no Energy worries. Has anything like this happened to any of you? And, shouldn't this NET ERROR STEALING not be toletared by gamers? |

First off, I think you mean a -20 hp focus item, as otherwise that item would be uber and I'd steal it from you.
Second, sometimes if you get a NETERR = 7 the servers don't save what your character just did, got, or whatnot. You'll just have to deal with it. I've lost worse. Also, all today my connection's been kicking me off every hour, so I have a lot more to complain about. |

It was not a -20hp focus item.
It was a -20hp protecting players icon and tocorrect my earlier post, this gave me 54Energy, still more than a 55monk. AND yes, it was uber and they stole it from me. |

Savio, -20 offhands do drop in the game.
Chingon, it sucks, but that's how life is. At least this was in-game. |

I guess if these aren't that rare then I wont lose sleep over it. It just seemed wierd to me that i got the neterror right after i got this item, since i wasn't entering or exiting an area, but i can live with it. |

Incidentally, there was a thread here a couple of days back about it:

yeah it can happen it's happened to me a few times before. the so called duping, that is. But the method really holds no value unless you can somehow create the ERROR 7 by yourself and not randomly. Anyways, what happened was that i gave 4ish items in the trade window to a friend. About 2 minutes after, error 7 hit and when i relogged on, i saw that i still had those 4 items, and my friend--who didn't get hit by the error also had them. Wow duping...i don't know if this was fixed or not but to my knowledge there little way to replicate this process since the error was created randomly. So unless you sit there trading items between characters all day 24/7 hoping for an error 7 at the right time, this isn't gonna happen. |
